Tija Ceramic Studio provides projects that meet education curriculum requirements, social groups and fundraisers. We have been bringing them to you in Halton, Hamilton, Brant and York Region since 2007.

We eliminate the cost of bus transportation  and the administrative time of arranging volunteer drivers, with our instructors bringing all materials and equipment necessary to you and your group in the comfort of your location.

A visit from Tija Ceramic Studio takes between 45 minutes and one and a half hours depending on  age, the number of people in the group, and the pottery you choose to paint.

Our Program Planner has an educator background, and can tailor the content of the visit to suit your requirements, and will agree to this with you in advance. For most of the visit everyone will decorate their own piece of ‘bisque’ pottery from your chosen pottery selection. We provide instruction, and have lots of design tools that can be used based on age, dexterity, and cognitive functioning.

We do not provide aprons, as our  paints are water-based and do not stain, as well they are non-toxic and lead free.

We glaze and kiln fire your painted pottery; finished items will be delivered back to you in about 5-7 days.
